I am using the Water Linked GPS with the BlueROV2. I am not sure how to calibrate the IMU. The instructions say:
” To calibrate the IMU disconnect all Recivers and Locator cables, but leave power and Ethernet connected. ”
The Ethernet and the Locator are both connected through the tether, I can not disconnect one with out also disconnecting the other. Will the connection to the Locator interfere with the proper calibration of the IMU? And if so, what should I do?
The instruction about disconnecting the Receiver and Locator cables are to prevent damage to the connectors and cables. If you are careful you can calibrate the IMU without removing them.
I will add a note to include that this is to prevent damage for the next update of the manual.
