Are you ready to put your skills to the test in an innovative, hands-on environment? As a part of Water Linked's Summer Internship, you'll have the chance to join a dynamic and collaborative team working on cutting-edge underwater technology. While the specific project details are still being finalized, you’ll be contributing to real-world tasks that explore the depths of underwater autonomy, sensor fusion, and signal processing.
We believe in fostering a strong learning environment where you can apply your academic knowledge to practical tasks, all while being guided by experienced engineers. As an intern, you'll be exposed to designing, prototyping, testing, and refining the functionalities of systems that push the boundaries of underwater technology.
What's new for 2025?
In addition to a unique learning experience, Water Linked is excited to be part of Workation 2025—a summer job program in Trondheim that includes 25 participating companies. As an intern, you’ll have access to a range of exciting activities like the Høyt & Lavt climbing park, Escape Rooms, and beer tastings at ØX, all free of charge! The Workation program is the perfect opportunity to expand your professional network while having fun and making new friends.

If you’re an enthusiastic and motivated student with a passion for problem-solving and a love for teamwork, you might be just the person we’re looking for! We’re seeking students enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s programs in Cybernetics, Electronics, marine technology or related fields. You should ideally be in your third or fourth year of study with a strong academic track record and a desire to build your future in engineering.
